How the relationship will work
First we contact each other to discuss what you are interested in exploring in a coaching relationship. We talk honestly about whether I am capable of delivering what you need and whether you are up for the challenge. This is free, whatever happens afterwards.
If we agree that we want to proceed, then we will set goals, agree how we will measure success and agree our expectations from the relationship. Based on this we will also agree a fee structure. This might be tied to the results, a fixed-fee structure, or a combination of the two.
From then on we go on a journey together. Whilst I will challenge you, you will remain in control. As we go forwards we will also re-evaluate based upon the results achieved and your changing needs.
When the results are achieved, or at any point of your choosing we can end the coaching relationship.
Coaching could be anything from a single day face to face, or several months of weekly 30 minute phone calls. We'll work out what's best for you and your individual situation, and keep it flexible to your changing needs.
How the coaching will work
Maybe you don’t know what your goals are. Maybe you are blocked in achieving them. Maybe you achieved them and don’t know what is next.
Whatever, the aim of our successful coaching relationship is to help you to know what you want from your future, and to equip you to fulfil your goals independently.
Dave’s approach to coaching is holistic: involving your mind, your body and the context within which you live and work. As a result working together might involve changing or developing your physical environment, your workplace, the quality of your relationships, your diet, or your appearance, just as much as it will involve talking about your internal blockers to success.
Change in one part of your life will be limited by changes in other parts of your life. How can you expect to succeed in one are without succeeding in others?
Get it known: get into choice: and get on with it
When we work together, I will use a variety of methods to expose underlying behaviours. What does how you do something in one area of your life say about how you act in other areas? This will do two things: it will create a body of deep self knowledge for you - giving you greater confidence in yourself, secondly and it will enable us to create actions and interventions that will help you achieve your goals.
First we work to make the sub-conscious blocker visible, then you can choose what to do with it. Then we work to make the change you want and make it sustainable.
